Bas triumphs in Grand Prix

Bas Mocharrafie was the clear winner of Cippenham's Summer Grand Prix, run over a six week period in August and September. Between them, Bas and Paul Baker won all six events with Bas winning four of those. Bas and Paul met in the final three times with Paul winning their first two encounters while Bas was successful the final week.

Paul, who played in four events, duly finished second in the points table with Keith Hall, who played five won the bronze medal. Graham Trimming played only three times but scored enough points to finish fourth while Akeel Mir was fifth and Seb Nimier sixth.

​

A total of twenty-one players took part overall in what was planned as a pre-season event to ready players for the league matches ahead.
