Today we announce important changes to protocols for Tuesday evening practice sessions. No longer will members have to book a table for themselves and a named playing partner. However, although the government has ended all legal Covid-related restrictions from 19 July, we do not feel the time is yet right to return to pre-Covid arrangements when, simply, anyone could walk in off the street to play table tennis.

We will retain the system of booking and paying for your session in advance. However, bookings will be accepted on an individual basis and limited to 24 players per evening. Tables will be available every Tuesday from 7:30 to 10:00 pm and a free-flow of players will be permitted in the playing hall so that play with multiple partners throughout the evening is allowed. This service remains for members only but applications from new members are encouraged.

This is a temporary measure until we are comfortable with a return to pre-Covid arrangements.

 

Fees revert to their normal rates of £4 per evening with a 50% reduction for full-time students, the over-60s and the unemployed. To take advantage of the reduction, if you qualify for it, simply enter the coupon code "CON" when prompted to pay for your booking.
