Congratulations to the Cippenham Trojans team of Maciej Dlugozima, Bharath Prasanna Kumar, Graham Trimming, Hari Prasad, Albert Cheung and Michal Garski who have clinched the title of the Maidenhead League with a match to spare. With second-placed Cippenham Saxons winning their final match 8-2, this left Trojans two points clear even before their final match which will be played next week.

This is the fourteenth time that a Cippenham team has won the Maidenhead League and the seventh in a row. For Graham this was a ninth Maidenhead team title, while it was the fifth time Albert has been so rewarded, the fourth time for Maciej and Hari, the second for Michal and the first for Bharath.

Congratulations also to runners-up Cippenham Saxons: Sai Prasanna Kumar (at 11 years of age); Louis Alexander; Mary Heffernan; Chloe Ireland; Peter Chipperton and Sue Hayes.

For good measure, Cippenham Spartans have raced away with the Division Two title. Congratulations to Rohit Varshney, who went through the entire season unbeaten, Umair Farooqui, Randall Rodrigues, Steve Piercey with a little help from Margaret Thornton and Jan Chapman.
