COACHING

Junior coaching has been a very important part of the Club's activities for thirty years, lead by accredited and qualified Head Coach Ken Phillips, the recipient of many local, regional and national awards for his dedication and quality of the services that he provides. The Club has generated over twenty players who have progressed to represent their countries in various age categories. Ken is assisted by more qualified coaches, Sue Hayes and Jan Chapman.

Beginners start with the early Monday session, 6:00 to 7:30 pm. The more advanced are then invited to the later Monday session, 7:45 to 9:15 pm. There is also an elite group which meets on Wednesday evenings.

Ken also coaches the most promising players on a one-to-one basis at his absolute discretion.
