Radio broadcast from Ping Pong Parlour - 31 August 2017

Cippenham publicised on BBC Radio Berkshire

BBC Radio Berkshire came to the pop-up Ping Pong Parlour in Nicholsons Walk Shopping Centre in Maidenhead today and was featured many times during the 3-hour breakfast programme from 7 am.

Such has been the success of this Ping Pong Parlour that the BBC sent roving reporter Bridgitte Tetteh who interviewed Cippenham’s Graham Trimming and Emily St. John from Table Tennis England, as well as staff of the shopping centre and some casual players who had dropped in from the adjacent Tesco store.

Graham was able to let listeners know about the great opportunities that exist at Cippenham and was also featured in a video shot by the BBC tweeted out by BBC Berkshire. Go to the Club’s Twitter site for our retweet.

More good news is that the Ping Pong Parlour is set to introduce many more players to table tennis as its tenure has been extended until the end of September. If you haven’t been along so far, now is the time to go!
