A relatively new honour given by the Club is Life membership. To earn this a person has to have made an outstanding voluntary contribution to the Club over a great many years.

The Club’s Founder Graham Trimming was the first to be honoured after 34 years as General Secretary and much more besides in 2007. He was followed by Peter Hillier, Treasurer for 32 years and an Officer for 37 years, Ken Phillips, Head Coach since 1986 and a member of the Management Committee for 25 years as well as being Chairman for seven, and Jacquie Lovell who tirelessly ran the catering and very many other aspects of the Club for 13 years.
