Christmas Party 20.12.09

Warm cheer on a cold evening

The Arctic conditions were not enough to put off about 50 brave souls from enjoying the Club’s annual Christmas Party. Eddie Mitchell ran the event for the second year and once again produced a fun-filled evening. Four teams contested the 5-a-side football, there was the usual photo competition but, of course, it was Ken’s robot challenge that brought out everyone’s competitive instinct. Club champion Colin Wilson won the senior challenge with a score of 30 while Liam McTiernan equalled that score when beating brother Daniel in a play-off for the junior prize.

In the lounge area, there was plenty of food and drink and good conversation to be had.
