Maidenhead Closed Championships 11-
Cippenham players were to the fore at the Maidenhead Closed with titles for Steve Smith, Tom Mitchell, Anthony Gardner, Simon Wilde and Ashley D’Sa and in handicapped events also for Andrew Sullivan.
Junior British League 2nd Weekend 11-
The Cippenham boys’ team by beating Westfield 4-
Veterans’ British League 2nd Weekend 28-
Cippenham ladies dramatically won their final two matches, after not having tasted victory in any of the previous eight, to jump out of the relegation zone into safety in Division 1 but the men’s team was not so successful, gaining only five points from their ten matches and leaving them bottom of Division 2A and facing relation to the National League.

Christmas Grand Prix 20.12.11
Cippenham TTC went into the Christmas break with a festive Grand Prix supported by 14 players. Ricky Hardcastle was the winner but the table tennis played second fiddle to the mulled wine, mince pies and festive spirit!
British League 2nd Weekend 10-
Lots of players unavailable and six new ones signed up meant that the Cippenham teams that took to the tables were weaker than anticipated. However, the first team managed four points out of eight to move into the top half of Division 1 South.

The clock was turned back 60 years for a special cause -
Veterans’ British League 1st weekend 5-
Neither Cippenham team managed a win during the first weekend and both find themselves at the foot of their respective divisions. However, with five draws from ten matches between then both teams will feel that the situation is recoverable next time around.
Cippenham Team 2-
Robert Hansell and Steve Munson, under the assumed guise of “Team O Boll” prevailed
in a competitively fought event to win this popular annual event. It was hard work,
though, as they lost their opening group match yet still manager to finish first
on count-
Club Awards Evening 27.10.11
At the annual awards evening the Senior Player of the Year award went to Robert Hansell with the boys’ and girls’ awards going to Joseph Underwood and Megan Ashfield. The Outstanding Contribution Award went to Muriel Hooker.
Junior British League 1st Weekend 21-
Cippenham’s fresh, young junior boys’ team found the going very tough in their debut session in the Junior British League. One point was the only reward from w weekend’s earnest endeavour.
Cippenham Five by Two Senior & Veterans’ 1-
It was a double triumph for Dave Harvey at the second 5 by 2 event of the season. He reigned supreme in both the Open Singles and the Veterans’ Singles, in the latter event beating local player Mark Banks in the final.
Women’s British League 1st weekend 25-
The women made a slightly faltering start to their Division 4 campaign with three
points from eight leaving them in fourth position at the half-
British League 1st Weekend 17-
The first and second teams both won six out of wight points to be well placed in their divisions after the first weekend of matches. The first team won their final match also. Rob Hansell and Kevin Gray shone with seven wins out of eight while Steve Munson and Tony Stead both did well with six apiece.

Eli Baraty and Jonathan Evans were the winners of the two main events as the tournament
season kicked off at Cippenham. It was good to see a maximum entry for the senior
event especially as the tournament did not get too much pre-
